PL Jazz w Ruinach to festiwal młodych wschodzących gwiazd muzyki jazzowej, około jazzowej i improwizowanej. Do udziału w wydarzeniu zapraszani są młodzi wykonawcy, młode zespoły z całego świata.

Jazz w Ruinach to łączenie sztuk – młoda scena muzyczna, młoda fala twórców grafiki i plakatu.

Jazz w Ruinach to platforma porozumienia pomiędzy muzyką a grafiką. Zarówno wśród muzyków, jak i grafików pojawiają się młode, wschodzące gwiazdy. To do nich należy przyszłość.

Jazz w Ruinach to przyszłość. Na pewno przyszłość sztuki muzycznej i graficznej.

Festiwal odbył się w dniach 4 – 12 sierpnia 2017 w Ruinach Teatru Victoria w Gliwicach. Wystawa festiwalowa działała do 20 sierpnia 2017. W ramach festiwalu odbyło się 8 koncertów na dużej scenie festiwalowej, koncerty na tarasie, warsztaty muzyczne w PSM im. Różyckiego w Gliwicach.
Na wystawę napłynęło blisko 400 prac z całego świata. Wybrano plakaty 140 autorów. 90 plakatów spośród wybranych było prezentowanych w Ruinach Teatru Victoria, a wszystkie wybrane w galerii internetowej.

EN The Jazz in the Ruins is a festival of young, rising stars of jazz music and improvised music. To the festival are invited young, remarkable artists from all over the world.

The Jazz in the Ruins is a cooperation of the arts – the young music scene and the young wave of graphic artists.

The Jazz in the Ruins is a platform of mutual understanding and recognition between music and graphic. Alike among the musicians and the graphic artists are presented young, distinguished stars. The future belongs to them.

The Jazz in the Ruins is about the future. Well, at least the future of the improvised music and the graphics.

In 2017 it all happened in August, between the 4th and 12th in the Ruins of the Victoria Theatre. The exhibition lasts till the 20th of August. During the festival we had 8 concerts on the main stage, concerts on the terrace, music workshops in the Music School in Gliwice.
When it comes to poster exhibition. Nearly 400 works from all over the world. Posters from 140 authors were selected. 90 of these were presented at the Ruins of the Victoria Theater, and all the selected posters are available to the public in a web gallery.
