Wyjątkowe koncerty młodych gwiazd sceny muzyki improwizowanej, około jazzowej i jazzowej, wystawa plakatów i grafik z całego świata, warsztaty muzyczne - to wszystko w ramach kolejnej odsłony festiwalu Jazz w Ruinach. Wśród 8 zespołów muzycznych byli reprezentanci Polski, Izraela, Francji, Węgier, Indonezji, Niemiec, Łotwy, Austrii, Serbii.
Na wystawę grafiki, w 2018 pod tytułem „Jazz is woman and woman is jazz”, po raz kolejny spłynęło blisko 400 prac. Wybrano plakaty ponad 100 autorów. 90 plakatów spośród wybranych było prezentowanych w Ruinach Teatru Victoria, a wszystkie wybrane w galerii internetowej.
W warsztatach wzięło udział ponad 20 osób pod okiem 2 instruktorów.
Ponad to odbył się koncert PSM w Gliwicach, który już na dużej scenie, a nie na tarasie jak w latach ubiegłych, inaugurował festiwal. W skład zespołu wchodzi 12 młodych osób, które dzięki festiwalowi miały okazję pokazać się szerszej publiczności zdobywając przy okazji motywację do dalszej pracy. Ostatni dzień festiwalu to także prezentacje efektów warsztatów muzycznych realizowanych podczas festiwalu.

Exceptional concerts of young stars of the improvised and jazz music scene, the exhibition of posters and graphics of the artists from around the world, music workshops - all this as part of the 14th edition of the Jazz in Ruins. Among the 8 music bands there were representatives of Poland, Israel, France, Hungary, Indonesia, Germany, Latvia, Austria and Serbia.
For the exhibition of graphics, in 2018 titled "Jazz is woman and woman is jazz", nearly 400 works have been taken over again. Over 100 authors have been selected. 90 posters from among the selected were presented in the Ruins of the Victoria Theater, and all selected in the online gallery.
Over 20 people participated in the workshop under the supervision of two instructors.
Above all, there was the concert of the pupils of the Music School in Gliwice, which inaugurated the festival on the big stage, not on the terrace like in previous years. The team consists of 12 young people who thanks to the festival had the opportunity to show themselves to a wider audience, while gaining motivation for further work. The last day of the festival is also the presentation of the effects of music workshops realized during the festival.
